River Dart
Devon
Overview
Victorian mansion in a tranquil rural location, overlooking the beautiful River Dart, close to Torbay resorts and the historic port of Dartmouth. Built in 1883 for a Victorian shipbuilder, this imposing building, situated next to Agatha Christie’s Greenway Estate, overlooks National Trust woodland with magnificent views across the River Dart.
Set in its own private grounds the River Dart Centre has spacious lounges, an attractive dining room, a minstrels’ gallery, log fires and wonderful views from many of its rooms. It is only a short distance from the town of Brixham and our watersports programme is conducted at nearby Broadsands (transport provided) which is a lovely, safe, gently shelving beach, perfect for our activities. Groups will participate in two exciting 1/2 day watersport activities as part of their watersports midweek course.
